20 Jul LAMBORGHINI HURACAN PERFORMANTE SPYDER—THE OLD KING OF NURBURGRING
The 2017 Geneva Motor Show was the initial platform to unveil the next step for the already popular and astonishing Lamborghini Huracan, This unveil came with a major breakthrough in the world record the vehicles in this category, slashing the numbers from the Porsche 918 Spyder at the Nürburgring’s Nordschleife circuit.
This intimidating raging bull has 640bhp ready at your disposal, all this power comes from a massive and revised 5.2-liter V10 engine, same found in the regular Huracan. More Power and Less Weight is part of the equation to make this Performante the king of Nürburgring, with a high focus on weight reduction this Performante is 40 kilograms lighter than the regular Huracan, by using forged aluminum and forged carbon fibre body components. The 0-100 run is performed in only 2.9 seconds, and a Top Speed of 351 kmh.(spyder version will be a bit slower)
Nothing in this car is like the regular Huracan, the suspension was stiffened by 10% with new springs, and with the ALA system, the Performante receives 750% more downforce than the regular Huracan.
In the interior, combined with the luxury materials found in any other Huracan, is the Lamborghini forged composite, made from mixing chopped-up carbon fibers with resin to allow complex shapes while retaining rigidity. It’s used for the front spoiler, entire rear wing assembly, engine cover, rear bumper, diffuser and much of the interior, too.
Factory Options for this Lamborghini Huracan Performante include Style Package, Carbon Ceramic Brakes with green Painted Calipers, Lamborghini Dynamic Steering, Dark Chrome Package, Magneto-Rheological Suspension, Rims 20” Gloss Black with red center lock, and Floor Mats with Performante logo.
