More About the Porsche 911 Heritage
The 911 Targa 4S Heritage Design Edition is the first of four Heritage Design models from Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur. It is limited to 992 units worldwide, a number that matches the 992 series code, and its styling borrows from the 1950s and early 1960s.
Under the skin it is a Targa 4S: a 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged flat-six making 443 hp, an eight-speed PDK dual-clutch and all-wheel drive, in a 2+2 Targa body. The heritage work is in the details, from corduroy seat inserts to a 1963-style crest, and it rewards a slow walk around the car before you drive it.

The cabin carries the edition's story in materials. Corduroy inserts in the seats and door cards reference the 1950s Porsche 356, and the headliner is perforated. The gauge numerals are lit in a pale blue-green, the shade used in early 911s and the 356.
A 1963-style Porsche crest sits on the steering wheel. The dashboard trim carries the "911" logo and a limited-edition plaque, and the brushed-aluminium door sill guards show the edition logo. Seating is 2+2, and the luggage compartment holds 132 litres.

The Targa body is 4,519 mm long on a 2,450 mm wheelbase. Two silver stripes run over the headlights, and a rocker stripe completes the look as a homage to racing repairs. The 1963-style crest appears on the hood and on the wheels, which are sized larger at the rear than at the front as a tribute to Fuchs wheels.
Gold-coloured badges finish the car, and a small badge on the rear deck lid recalls the reliability badges Porsche gave owners at 100,000 and 200,000 km.
Porsche 911 Heritage Performance
The 3.0-litre (2,981 cc) twin-turbocharged flat-six produces 331 kW (450 PS), or 443 hp in the North American rating, at 6,500 rpm. Torque is 530 Nm and stays available from 2,300 to 5,000 rpm. Power goes through an eight-speed PDK dual-clutch to all four wheels.
The 0–100 km/h sprint takes 3.6 seconds with Launch Control (Porsche quotes less than 3.6 seconds) and 3.8 seconds without it. Top speed is 304 km/h. PASM electronically controlled variable damping is standard, working with McPherson struts at the front and a multi-link rear suspension. Unladen weight is 1,675 kg (DIN, EU spec).
